Follitrope Prefilled Syringes Injection

It is an imported pharma product marketed under Organs Pharma. Follitrope contains highly purified recombinant FSH imported from LG Chem. It is used to help in ovulation induction and improve chances of pregnancy. It is available in pre-filled syringes.

Indications:

Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation to mature multiple follicles during an assisted reproduction program (i.e., in vitro fertilization/embryo transfer; IVF/ET, gamete intrafallopian transfer; GIFT, zygote intrafallopian transfer; ZIFT, intracytoplasmic sperm injection; ICSI)
Anovulation in women that is not treated with clomiphene citrate (WHO Group II patients with polycystic ovary disease (PCOD).

Dosage Protocol:

Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation: 150-300 IU Follitrope daily, commencing on days 2 to 5 of cycle until adequate follicular development is achieved, with dose not higher than 450 IU daily. Followed by 10,000 IU IVF-C (hCG) after 48 hours of Follitrope.

Women with Anovulation (including PCOD): 75-150 IU Follitrope daily, increased by 75 IU after 7-14 days interval. When an optimal response is obtained, IVF-C 5000-10,000 IU should be administered after the last pre-filled syringe of Follitrope.
